How it works

Forward the bill. Keep your weekend.

Three steps, and one of them is pressing Forward, which you already know how to do.

  1. 01

    Get your address

    In arc, open Settings, then Receipt inbox. Every budget gets its own private address, so work bills and home bills never mix. Nobody can guess yours.

  2. 02

    Forward the boring stuff

    E-bills, receipts, PDF statements, even plain-text "your order has shipped" emails. Set up a mail rule once and you never have to think about it again.

  3. 03

    Review, then file

    arc reads each one when you tap Review, and nothing goes into your budget until you say so. It's like an accountant that never asks about your weekend.

Questions people ask a mailbox

Yes, we get this a lot.

Can I email you a birthday card?
You can, but we'll just treat it as an expense.
What about my password-protected bank statement?
That works. arc asks you for the password on your phone. It never reaches us.
Is a human reading these?
No. Documents sit in your inbox until you review them in the app, and anything you don't review is deleted after 30 days.
Who gets an address?
arc Premium members, on arc's own servers or yours.
Why ".fyi"?
Because "fyi" is all anyone writes when they forward a bill.
